Dancing for Birth

DANCING FOR BIRTH ™

I am trained to teach ‘Dancing for Birth’ and Yoga Dance. I usually try to include a 5 – 10 minute dance, roughly once a month into my Pregnancy and Post-Natal Yoga classes. Dance is a wonderful way to connect with your pregnant body, and with your baby post-natally. The dances are very gentle and can help ease SPD (Symphasis Pubis Dysfunction, or PGP) and help to strengthen the body for birth and mothering. All of my students are surprised how much fun these dances can be! We all have a really good laugh together – even if you usually wouldn’t try this type of thing, I promise you will have fun having a go.
